 Has anyone seen the movie "The Spiderwick Chronicles"?

I haven't...

But I'd really like to.



I first heard about the books when they came out, but I didn't really get a chance to read them...

Until I saw the omnibus at Popular yesterday...

So I decided to read it before I get a chance to see the movie...







Really good book...

It's sort of like "A Series of Unfortunate Events", what with its gothic styled art and uneven pages that look like they were folded and torn instead of cutted with a paper cutter...







And I like the map at the beginning of each book...

It's all the same map of the Spiderwick estate in the book, but it's nice to see it a few more times...



AND,

I like the little pictures that you see along the book, especially the character profiles (as in 'passport-sized photos')...
